Rose Blvc, KP Illest Win Female & Male Artist Of The Year

A complete newcomer to the NAMAs going by the name Rose Blvc stole this weekend’s show by scooping 3 of the biggest awards; Best Album, Best Female Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year accolades walking away with a whooping N$350,000 in one night.

The NAMAs crowned KP Illest Best Male Artist of the Year, scooping the biggest award in the male category.

This weekend’s NAMAs saw beautiful performances from the likes of PDK, Adora, Sally Boss Madam, Rose Blvc, Ethnix and Sunny Boy.

The weekend concluded the 2nd last NAMA premier shows over 9 full weekends in which over N$1.5 million of prize monies were paid out.

The NAMAs will conclude next Saturday with categories Best Newcomer, Artist of the Decade and will welcome back on the NAMA stage Namibian legends who had contributed to the music industry for the last 20 years.

The likes of Michael Owos Oas, Killa B, Ras Sheehama and many more will signify the very last performance on the NAMA stage.

“Congratulations to Rose Blvc and KP Illest for winning huge at this weekend’s NAMAs. We are proud of them and want to see them going on and doing big collaborations with local and international artist. Rose Blvc’s win is testimony that it doesn’t matter who you are, when you entered the music industry and where you come from, if you have the talent, it will be recognised,” said NAMA Executive Chairperson Tim Ekandjo.
